THE Tingha Tigers President’s Cup team fought a tough Bingara Bullets on Saturday.
But the the Tigers managed to retain their top spot on the ladder with a 20 point win over the Bullets.
Coach Jeremy Tickle said his team had played well.
“Bingara really put it to us, but we still came out with the win.”
The reigning premiers are now eight points ahead of the other teams, securing a place in the finals.
“The boys have been working really hard and have maintained good form throughout the season,” Tickle said.
“This weekend is going to be a good one against the Hawks.
“Hopefully we will be able to make it to the grand final again this year and what would be even better is coming away the premiers again.”
