 Training reaches heights

Training reaches heights

19/08/2008 10:23:00 AM
A PILOT course run between New England NorthWest Group Training and BEST Employment has been successful.

Ten men completed Working in Confined Spaces and Working at Heights courses and are now looking for jobs.

Life and Rescue International conducted the four-day course at the new SES training facility.

New England North West Group Training employment placement officer Christine Holding said the main purpose of the course was to skill the men to help them find work.

“They all did very well and were also able to utilise the new training tower and confined spaces areas at the training facility,” Mrs Holding said.

“We would like to thank the SES for allowing us to use the facility.

“Now, we are quite keen to work with BEST Employment and the SES again to provide other training for people looking for work.”

For more information contact Christine Holding on 0437 488 544.
